Comedienne is a “Triple Shot of Expresso in a Decaf World”
Hope Community Church Hosts Comedienne Anita Renfroe

Raleigh, NC - She has been described as “a triple shot of expresso in a decaf world,” but there isn’t a latte cup big enough to hold the party that comedian Anita Renfroe brings. Her specialty is women’s events and she brings her special brand of laughter to Hope Community Church on June 4.

A Women’s Ministry sponsored event, the one-day women’s conference featuring Anita Renfroe begins at 9:00 a.m. and concludes at 2:00 p.m. The cost is $12 per person and lunch is included. Pre-registration by May 23 is required. The event is hosted by Hope Community Church in Raleigh, 821 Buck Jones Road, near the Crossroads and South Hills area of Cary.

Renfroe is a multifaceted creative artist and her projects reflect the remarkable diversity of her gifts -- books, comedy concert videos, and vocal and instrumental CD’s. An exceptional speaker and comedian, her colorful stories and experiences take audiences from side-splitting laughter to moments of powerful, heart changing truths.

Though many would view comedy and worship as mutually exclusive, Renfroe sees these two apparent opposites as different sides of the same coin. Explains Renfroe, “Laughter breaks down walls. It disarms people. It allows extraordinary truth to be communicated in unexpected ways.”
