Meet the teaching pastors of Hope

  Mike Lee is the founding and senior pastor of Hope Community Church and is well-known for his dynamic, relevant and insightful Bible-based teaching. Mike received his seminary degree from Talbot School of Theology and has been a pastor for over 25 years. He and wife Laura (Hope's Children's Ministry Director) are the parents of two adult children. Read more from Pastor Mike here.
     
  Dave Patchin is Hope's executive pastor overseeing the day to day operations and ministries of Hope. With Campus Crusade for Christ for 18 years, Dave served eight of those years as a regional director. He holds an undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech and has attended the International School of Theology and Reformed Theological Seminary. He and wife Kara are the parents of three children.
     
 

Steve Ellis oversees the outreach ministries of Hope as well as Hope's vibrant small group ministries including Starting Point. Pastoring for over 18 years, Steve received his undergraduate degree from UNC-CH and his graduate degree from The Divinity School at Duke University. He and wife Myra are the parents of two adult children.

     
 

Joe Roberts is the pastor of the college and young adults ministries which minister to single and married adults ages 18-30 something. With both a bachelors in Theology and a Master of Divinity from Olivet University, Joe is currently completing work on his doctorate in Christian Spirituality from Fuller Seminary. He and his wife Sandy have two children.

     
  Donnie Darr is Hope's new missions and care pastor overseeing Global Hope Missions, hospital visitations, general counseling, and prayer ministries. He is currently wrapping up his tenure as pastor of senior and junior high student ministries--a position he has held at Hope for the past seven years. Donnie is married to Beth and they have two children.
