Main Idea
We often “go prodigal” because there is a battle between our old self and our new spirit in Jesus. God helps us win that battle by putting an end to our old self through obedience to Him alone.

Read Luke 15:11-13

In the message we were reminded that each of us has “gone prodigal” in some way and walked away from a relationship with God. What has “going prodigal” looked like in your life?

Luke 9:23 says, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”
