How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!
Psalm 133:1

As God calls us into a season of change and renewed purpose, we are trusting Him to strengthen and unite us as a church family—as His Church.

When we are united as a people who love God, follow Jesus, and share hope, we become a powerful force to make known the love of Jesus and the life that He came to make available for us.

Watch for Updates + Ways to Connect

God is calling Hope Community Church into a season of change and renewed purpose, but our mission remains the same—to love God, follow Jesus, and share hope as one church, one family

October 5 was our final gathering at our mobile campuses in Fuquay-Varina, Garner, and Northwest Cary. All 3 gatherings were incredible celebrations of all God has done in and through the church in those communities.

October 12 we will begin gathering together at our physical campuses in Apex and Raleigh.

Community Pastors will continue to shepherd their people and keep living on mission in each area. Community groups will continue, and new ways to experience belonging will take shape.

This is a season full of opportunities to serve, grow, and walk faithfully together—let’s step forward with expectant hearts, trusting God to strengthen and unite us.

Key Dates:

October 5th: Recommissioning Service at mobile communities

FAQ

How can mobile campuses continue to grow and connect during this change?

Community groups and small groups will continue meeting in their neighborhoods. We will continue to partner with local schools and organizations to reach our communities. There will be quarterly community gatherings and local outreach events will remain a priority. Community pastors will still shepherd their areas.

Consolidating weekend gatherings allows us to maximize existing facilities and reduce costs. Savings will be reinvested into discipleship, outreach, and future growth opportunities.

Yes. This is a strategic recalibration, not a retreat. We remain open to God’s leading for opportunities to expand the mission He’s given us in these communities and others.

After months of prayer, research, and financial review, this timing ensures we remain mission-focused and financially wise. Unity now positions us for greater strength and future expansion.

Community pastors remain in place to shepherd and equip local leaders. Other roles will change; some staff will take on new roles, some will transition off staff with care and severance.

Your Community Pastor:
Garner: Shaun Sullivan (shauns@gethope.net)
Fuquay: Matt Curtis (mattc@gethope.net)
Northwest Cary: Eugene Reinert (gener@gethope.net)

We will be keeping our current service times at both locations.

Kids and Students will join the family ministry environments and groups when we gather in Apex and Raleigh. We will work together with their current group leaders in Fuquay, Garner, and NW Cary to help them stay connected as they gather with Apex and Raleigh groups.
