Saying No To God

Every one of us has said no to God at one point or another. And once we say no to God, yes tends to come a whole lot easier in all the wrong places. Before you know it, you find yourself deep down a path you never intended to travel.
If you’ve ever had a moment where you woke up, looked around, and wondered —How did I get here? — you’re not alone. Saying no to God may not seem like a big deal in the moment, but it can affect you in ways you’d never expect. The good news is it’s never too late to say yes.
Week 1: When God Doesn’t Make Sense
God often works in ways that we don’t understand. In our confusion, we are often tempted to put distance between us and God. This is the last thing we should do.
Week 2: When God Brings the Storm
God is relentless in His pursuit of us. In His grace, He will sometimes send storms, to show us who we really are, and how much we desperately need Him.
Week 3: When We Hit Rock Bottom
God will often allow us to hit rock bottom because he cares more about changing our heart than our circumstances, but this temporary suffering is always worth it.
Week 4: When We Learn to Care About What God Cares About
Even after we have renewed our relationship with God, we are still in a process of heart work that He has designed to get us to care about the things that He cares about.
